Will Richard be able to save his home of Westland? Will be able to save all those of D’Hara and the Midlands as well? Will he be able to restore the boarder? Should he face his destiny or run from it? And what of his love for Kahlan? Does Kahlan love him in return? Is it even safe for Richard to love her? And most importantly will he be able to find the answers to the questions he seeks? If he doesn’t the world may be lost in ash and fire.
